La Maison panoramique

LEED Certification | Novoclimat Certification

Opening onto a sweeping panorama, this home was designed for a couple with a passion for hunting and fishing who wished to spend their retirement immersed in the rhythms of nature. From one room to the next, the landscape unfolds, allowing the changing colors of the seasons and shifting light to become part of everyday life. To the south, expansive triangular windows follow the lines of the roof, bringing the sky into the home. The warmth of wood softens the contemporary architecture and invites a slower pace of life.

The ground floor brings together the couple’s living spaces, while the garden level welcomes children and grandchildren during family gatherings. A veranda extends the seasons, offering a place to savor the first mild days of spring and linger a little longer into autumn. Alternating between the intimacy of daily life for two and the vitality of family gatherings, the house offers a place to call home, firmly anchored in its setting and oriented toward the horizon.
